Meet Men’s Health Network’s Advisory Board:

Advancing Men’s Health via Expertise, Collaboration, & Leadership

At Men’s Health Network (MHN), meaningful progress happens when passionate advocates, healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, policymakers, and community leaders come together around a common mission: improving the health and well-being of men, boys, and their families.

Our Advisory Board embodies that mission.

Representing expertise across medicine, nursing, psychology, public health, health policy, research, academia, patient advocacy, communications, and nonprofit leadership, these distinguished professionals help shape the direction of Men’s Health Network while ensuring our work remains evidence-based, collaborative, and responsive to the evolving needs of men and their families.

Their guidance strengthens our educational resources, public awareness campaigns, advocacy efforts, research partnerships, and community outreach initiatives, allowing Men’s Health Network to continue serving as a trusted voice for men’s health.

A Year of Progress

Over the past year, Men’s Health Network has continued to build momentum in advancing men’s health across the country. Our Advisory Board has played an important role in supporting many of these efforts.

Together, we’ve continued advocating for the State of Men’s Health Act (H.R. 7602), legislation that would establish an Office of Men’s Health within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services while improving federal coordination around men’s health issues. We’ve also supported the continued growth of the Congressional Men’s Health Caucus and expanded conversations around men’s health at both the federal and state levels.

Our educational initiatives have continued to grow as well. This year saw the launch of the My Cancer, My Plan survivorship podcast series and accompanying educational resources, expanded cancer awareness materials, new community education campaigns, additional resources for caregivers and families, and continued development of Men’s Health Month programming reaching communities throughout the United States and beyond.

The organization has also strengthened partnerships with healthcare organizations, universities, professional associations, employers, researchers, and community advocates, creating new opportunities to improve education, prevention, screening, and access to care.

Strength Through Collaboration

One of the greatest strengths of our Advisory Board is the diversity of experience its members bring to the table.

Our advisors include nationally recognized physicians caring for patients every day, nurses improving patient outcomes, psychologists advancing our understanding of men’s mental health, researchers studying the social and biological factors that influence health, public health leaders addressing disparities, educators training future healthcare professionals, nonprofit executives advocating for patients, and policy experts working to improve healthcare systems.

This broad range of expertise allows Men’s Health Network to approach men’s health from every perspective—clinical care, prevention, research, public policy, education, communications, and community engagement.

Whether developing educational resources, advising on emerging health issues, reviewing research, supporting advocacy efforts, or helping build new partnerships, our Advisory Board members contribute their time and expertise to help improve the lives of men and boys everywhere.
