This Giving Tuesday:
Be the Change Men’s Health Needs
Giving Tuesday is next week on Tuesday, and it’s a powerful reminder that real change starts when we give our time, our voices, and our support. At Men’s Health Network (MHN), we’ve seen how one person’s effort can create ripples that reach communities, workplaces, and even Capitol Hill.
When you support MHN, you’re not just donating to a cause. You’re investing in a movement that is closing the Lifespan Gender Gap, tackling the Empathy Gap, and improving the health and well-being of men, boys, and their families where they live, work, play, and pray.

A Year of Progress and Purpose
In 2025, Men’s Health Network made remarkable strides in expanding awareness, building empathy, and saving lives. Here are just a few highlights that your support made possible:
- Testicular Cancer Awareness Month (April) empowered younger men to take charge of their health, highlighting that early detection saves lives.
- Men’s Health Month and Men’s Health Week (June) united families, schools, and employers in a shared mission to prioritize men’s preventive care. Our Wear Blue Friday campaign lit up workplaces, campuses, and community organizations across the country.
- Prostate Cancer Awareness Month (September) reached record-breaking engagement with new partnerships, educational toolkits, and awareness events. Thousands of organizations nationwide downloaded MHN’s toolkit to promote early detection and screening.
- MHN supported the Congressional Men’s Health Caucus and it’s reformation in June of 2025, reignited this year on Capitol Hill, driving momentum for policy change and championing the creation of an Office of Men’s Health within HHS. This represents an important step toward national recognition of men’s health disparities.
- Policy and Advocacy Achievements:
This fall, Congress advanced several bipartisan resolutions that spotlight men’s health and cancer prevention:- H.R. 495: National Men’s Health Week (June 9–15, 2025) — Supports the designation of a week in June to encourage prevention, screenings, and greater awareness of men’s health.
- H.R. 544: National Men’s Health Month (June 2025) — Expands recognition to the entire month of June, sustaining national focus on education and prevention efforts.
- H.R. 1300: PSA Screening for HIM Act — A bipartisan bill to improve access to PSA screenings by expanding insurance coverage and strengthening clinical guidance, promoting earlier detection of prostate cancer.
- H.R. 675: National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month — Introduced by Rep. Troy Carter (D-LA) and co-sponsored by members of the Congressional Men’s Health Caucus, this resolution designates September as National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. It highlights the disproportionate impact on Black men and calls for greater awareness, research, and access to care.
Takeaway: These bipartisan resolutions, especially H.R. 1300, reflect growing momentum in Congress to elevate men’s health, strengthen screening access, and address disparities that shorten men’s lives.
- Our internship and Ambassador programs grew stronger than ever, engaging students and community leaders who now serve as year-round advocates, storytellers, and change-makers in their communities.
These successes are only possible because of supporters like you.

Giving Empathy, Not Just Donations
At MHN, we often say that improving men’s health starts with empathy. Conversations about men’s roles and well-being can be difficult, but empathy bridges that divide.
When a father gets screened because his child reminded him to.
When a friend reaches out after losing a loved one to suicide.
When a church hosts a men’s health event that sparks new conversations about care, prevention, and faith.
That’s empathy in action. That’s what your support helps make possible.
This Giving Tuesday, your contribution isn’t just a donation. It’s a statement of compassion. It tells men and boys across America that their health, their lives, and their stories matter.
❤️ Help build a culture of empathy and understanding. Donate now.
Building a Movement — One Ambassador at a Time
Behind every successful awareness campaign is someone who decides to act. MHN’s Ambassador Program brings together individuals who want to make an impact, whether by sharing educational materials, organizing local events, or starting conversations that save lives.
Our Ambassadors are the heart of this movement. They are parents, veterans, students, healthcare professionals, and community leaders who believe that men’s health deserves equal attention, empathy, and action.
This year, MHN Ambassadors have:
- Distributed toolkits and educational brochures in community centers, churches, and clinics across 40 states.
- Shared personal stories of resilience through blogs, podcasts, and video interviews.
- Supported local health fairs and community events that reached thousands of families nationwide.
The impact is growing, and you can be part of it.

Reaching Men Where They Are
Our mission has always been simple: to reach men where they live, work, play, and pray. This year, MHN expanded outreach efforts designed to meet men on their terms, not only in clinics or boardrooms, but in the heart of their communities.
From faith-based partnerships to community health events in minority neighborhoods, MHN is sparking real dialogue about health, screenings, and emotional well-being. Through social media, newsletters, and local outreach, we’re reminding men that checking in with their health is not a weakness; it’s a strength.
And for younger audiences, we’ve strengthened our outreach in schools, helping students learn early about preventive care, emotional resilience, and mental health support systems.
Every message matters. Every story shared, every toolkit downloaded, every conversation started moves us closer to a healthier nation.

Policy and Advocacy That Saves Lives
Your support doesn’t just fund programs. It fuels policy change.
This year, MHN worked tirelessly to advance legislation that recognizes men’s health as a public health priority. The relaunch of the Congressional Men’s Health Caucus was a historic milestone, ensuring that men’s health disparities are recognized, studied, and addressed at the highest levels of government.
Our team also continued advocating for the establishment of an Office of Men’s Health within the Department of Health and Human Services, a vital step toward better coordination, research, and funding for men’s health issues.
These efforts aren’t abstract ideas. They’re about saving lives. Policy determines access to care, funding for prevention, and national awareness campaigns that reach millions.

Why Your Support Matters Now More Than Ever
Men are dying nearly six years earlier than women, on average. Too many lives are lost to preventable causes such as heart disease, suicide, diabetes, and cancer.
MHN is working hard every day to change that.
But this work takes resources. It takes voices. It takes people like you.
Your Giving Tuesday contribution helps MHN expand awareness campaigns, distribute more educational toolkits, train new Ambassadors, and continue policy advocacy that protects the health and well-being of men and their families.
Every dollar donated helps us take one step closer to closing the lifespan gap and building a culture of empathy, prevention, and action.
