Richard Duque, a Registered Dietitian, is a Renal Dietitian at Satellite Healthcare, one of the country’s leading providers of dialysis and kidney disease services. He specializes in working with patients with Chronic Kidney Disease, and has experience in medical nutrition therapy, weight loss, sports nutrition, geriatric nutrition, and diabetes management. J. Parrish Lewis writes. He is also the author of The Goblin Road, a fantasy novel, and The Rabbit List. He was born and raised in Maryland. In his youth there, he and his brother had many adventures in the dogwood forests near his home. His nostalgia for these adventures has strongly influenced his characters, their relationships, and their perspective on the world they inhabit. He moved to California’s coast to earn his degree in communications and now lives with his family in the San Joaquin Valley. Lewis is profoundly deaf and uses American Sign Language to communicate. He enjoys hazelnut coffee, captioned movies, and walking his dog.
Dr. Barb DePree specializes in midlife women's health, ages 40-65, and women's sexual health. Dr. Barb is certified through the North American Menopause Society as a provider, and was named the 2013 NAMS Certified Menopause Provider of the year.
Dr. DePree created MiddlesexMD.com essentially to share practice-tested, clinically sound information with women.
Dr. Sobel earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical School, then completed his urologic training from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago in 2005. He joined Urology Associates in February 2009.
Dr. Sobel is board certified by the American Board of Urology in adult and pediatric urology and is a member of the American Urological Society and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America. He is also a founding member of the Denver Sexual Medicine Alliance.
Prior to his medical career, Dr. Sobel spent several years as a corporate attorney at the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. He earned a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan with a concentration in religion.
Dr. Sobel is also the founder of Emmi Solutions, LLC, a company that creates interactive, web-based programs designed to explain complex information to patients and to better prepare them for upcoming surgery.
Dr. Sobel is interested in all areas of urology, including urologic oncology, treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BHP), stone disease and incontinence. He has a particular interest and expertise in sexual medicine and is the Director of the Denver Center for Men’s Health.
Was Assistant to the President and Cabinet Secretary in the Obama administration. He was also Chair of the My Brother’s Keeper Task Force.
