Nancy C. Lee, M.D., is the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health Women's Health and the Director of the Office on Women's Health (OWH) in the Office of the Secretary, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). At OWH, Dr. Lee oversees a staff of about 30 who work together to accomplish the OWH mission: provide leadership and coordination to improve the health of women and girls through policy, education, and model programs. Dr. Lee also chairs the Coordinating Committee on Women's Health (CCWH), which was formed in 1984 to advise the Assistant Secretary for Health on activities across HHS that safeguard and improve the physical and mental health of women and girls. The CCWH includes senior‐level representatives from each of the HHS agencies.

Dr. Howard K. Koh served as the 14th Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), after being nominated by President Barack Obama and confirmed by the U.S. Senate in 2009. He is currently the Harvey V. Fineberg Professor of the Practice of Public Health Leadership at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health and the Harvard Kennedy School. Dr. Giorgianni is an expert in men's health, is Senior Science Advisor to Men's Health Network, and is a registered pharmacist. He is a recognized expert in drug regulatory and US pharmaceutical policy as well as in organizational reputation management and strategic alliance development. He has authored, co-authored or presented some 200 works in health care, industry regulation and business. He is an advisor and board member to several health advocacy associations including: Men's Health Network; American Osteopathic Medical Foundation; Kappa Psi Scholarship Foundation; Nurse Practitioner Health Care Foundation and the National Association for Continence.
He is a founding member of the Dialogue on Men's Health, a presenter at the White House conference on Men's Health, and a contributor to the SAGE publication, American Journal of Men's Health. Dr. Giorgianni had a 26 year career with Pfizer Inc, where he held positions in the medical, regulatory, training, public policy, business planning, sales and marketing groups. Most recently he served as Pfizer's Director, External Relations. He also directed several publications, including the Pfizer Careers In Health Care series and The Pfizer Journal: Perspectives in Health Care and Biomedical Research.
Kara Odom Walker, MD, MPH, MSHS, is the Deputy Chief Science Officer in the Office of the Chief Science Officer at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
Before PCORI, Walker was assistant clinical professor in Family and Community Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, where she saw patients in a primary care setting, taught medical students and residents, and pursued health services research. Her research centered on improving healthcare delivery through integrated care, with a special interest in vulnerable populations. In particular, she developed new survey measures to assess the patient experience of integrated care while on faculty at UCSF. During her fellowship with the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program at University of California, Los Angeles, she designed and conducted a survey of South Los Angeles older residents to understand the effect of closure of a large safety net hospital, and worked with community partners to provide policy recommendations to reopen the hospital. During that time, she was trained in community-based participatory research methods and obtained a MS in health services.
