Nicole Greene serves as Deputy Director for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office on Women's Health (OWH) and acts as the primary advisor to the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health — Women's Health. A former Council for Excellence in Government Fellow and a graduate of the prestigious Leadership for a Democratic Society program through the Federal Executive Institute, Ms. Greene leads change management in the office. One of her first projects at OWH was to lead the restructuring of OWH, improving the efficiency and effectiveness by aligning the mission of the Office so it can better serve American women and girls.

Stephen J. Teach, MD, MPH, is the Associate Dean for Pediatric Academic Affairs and Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences; and Director and Principal Investigator of IMPACT DC (Improving Pediatric Asthma Care in the District of Columbia), a care, research, and advocacy program focused on under-resourced and largely minority children with asthma.

Thomas Newell, 64, lives in Randolph, MA with his wife, Andrea, and retired from Verizon in 2015 after working for 34 years for the company. He has two sons, Terrell and Jerel. A nephew, Alex Newell, on Broadway, in the Musical “Once Upon This Island,” whose father passed away in 1999 from colon cancer.
Janet Newman, Ph.D. is a consultant and the author of Living in the Chemical Age. Her longtime interest in health and nutrition has led her to explore the damage that hidden environmental toxins can do and to discover ways to reduce or eliminate their impact. Janet has a Ph.D. in psychology and a master’s degree in social work. She is the mother of two active boys and enjoys organic gardening, writing, yoga, bike riding, and cooking healthy meals for her family.
